We are looking for people to join our dynamic, growing. team of drivers, as owner-drivers.
You will need to be the type of person that puts the client first & believes that every customer of Britannia Executive Travel is a V.I.P.
All Drivers Need To:
At all times put the customer's needs first. (Convey the client's luggage from the home/office, station/terminal to the car, open doors & be courteous at all times. Assist the client in any other way necessary to fulfil their needs).
Present themselves & their vehicle in a smart & clean condition at all times. Wearing a plain suit, shirt & tie, and black, polished leather, shoes.
Owner Drivers:
You need to have a late model Mercedes Benz, E-class or above, (preferably in Black, Silver or White), which must be licensed with DBC as a Private Hire vehicle.
You must hold a current DBC Private Hire Driver licence & badge, together with a full UK car licence, which you must have held for a minimum of 10* years. You may NOT have been banned from driving, nor had any serious driving conviction during the last 15 years.
[* since your 20th Birthday if you are currently aged between 25 & 30 years of age].
Company Drivers: [We are NOT currently recruiting company car drivers].
Should meet the above criteria, in all aspects other than those relating to the vehicle.
From time to time we may be prepared to sponsor a driver, who is new to the trade or area, towards the costs of obtaining the appropriate Private Hire Driver's Licence - priority will be given to existing & recent members of Her Majesty's Armed Forces, UK Emergency Services, NHS or other comparable posts in the UK public sector.
